The international exhibition “INNOPROM. India” has concluded in New Delhi

The international media project National Capital served as the official information partner of this significant event. The main event of the final day of the exhibition was the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The leaders personally toured the joint exposition, where key achievements in mechanical engineering, aviation, rail transport, and high technology were showcased.

Among the key Russian developments presented were an optical computer for artificial intelligence tasks, the PD-8 aircraft engine, models of the MC-21-310 and SJ-100 aircraft, as well as a domestic platform for international settlements for foreign trade participants. Indian partners presented the Shakti TBM Tunnel tunnel-boring complex, an autonomous underwater vehicle, and the latest space start-ups.

The central event of the business program was the main plenary session “Strengthening Russian-Indian Trade and Industrial Partnership” featuring Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov and India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal.

A number of significant agreements between Russian and Indian organizations were signed at the exhibition. These included an agreement between Krasnodar Krai and Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited on investments in the construction of a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant; a memorandum on developing cooperation in the production of railway automation systems between Natsproektstroy and BULK MRO; an agreement to establish a Russian-Indian AI competence center in the Nizhny Novgorod Region between the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Indo-Russian technology hub Innopraktika, and the association Russoft; and many other contracts.
